Welcome to naturum

Naturum Stendörren is an information centre about the Baltic Sea. Here you can find out more about life in the archipelago and what lives under the surface of the sea. Naturum has free admission and offers something for everyone, both children and adults. Naturum is open during the summer months.

Exhibitions, tours and shop

Come and see the Baltic Sea exhibition – to understand how the Baltic Sea ecosystem functions and how life once was in the archipelago. Peek at plants and animals in the aquarium, fast-forward the land uplift, and much more.

Go on tours with our nature guides or try scoop-netting on the meadow and in the sea. We also offer guided tours especially for schools or other groups.

There is a small shop in naturum, where you can buy books about animals and plants, as well as butter fly nets and other things useful in nature.

Open-air café

Outside naturum there is an open-air café in the summertime. Here you can get fika, ice cream and light meals.

How to get to naturum

Naturum is reached by a 600 metre walk along the road from the parking lot at Krokholmen Entrance in Stendörren nature reserve. Those who have difficulty walking can drive all the way. Contact naturum to get a code for the boom barrier.
