Developing capacity and preparedness in the reception of newly arrived persons

The County Administrative Board allocates funds to develop capacity and preparedness in the reception of newly arrived, which have been granted a residence permit, and unaccompanied children. Funds can be applied for by municipalities and municipal confederations
Areas of priority in 2018
In 2018 the County Administrative Board will, in allocating the funds, prioritize:
- Efforts that help facilitating settlement and increase the reception capacity in the municipalities
- Efforts aiming at creating prerequisites for conveying or in other ways facilitating the rental of private individual’s homes to newly arrived persons.
- Efforts aiming at developing the cooperation between different actors, such as municipalities, authorities and civil society.
Target groups
The efforts shall aim at newly arrived persons that have been granted a residence permit or at unaccompanied children that are seeking asylum or have been granted a residence permit.
Reporting
Activities granted funding shall be reported in interim and final reports, which are to be submitted to the County Administrative Board. Please, use the report template valid for the year in which the activity was granted funds.
