• Eldningsförbud i länet

    Brandrisken är mycket stor i östra delarna av Jämtlands län. Eldningsförbud gäller från klockan 08.00 lördag den 10 juni i Bergs och Härjedalens kommuner, samt i områden öster om E45:an. Eldningsförbudet gäller fram tills det upphävs./ A fire ban has been issued for Berg and Härjedalen municipalities, and in all areas east of the E45 highway. It is in effect between Saturday, June 10 at 8.00 am and until it is revoked.

Metal detector permit

Do you want to use a metal detector? Then you need to apply for a permit from the County Administrative Board.

Those who want to use a metal detector must have a permit from the County Administrative Board. We only issue permits for a limited land area, and never for areas in or at a heritage site or ancient find.

Bans under the Cultural Heritage Act

To protect our heritage sites or ancient finds, it is prohibited under the Cultural Heritage Act to use a metal detector without an approved permit from the County Administrative Board.

Application fee

The County Administrative Board charges a fee for metal detector permit applications. The fee is 870 SEK for each land area that your application applies to, whether or not the permit is approved.
