Cumulative impact on the Baltic Proper harbour porpoise population

The Baltic Proper harbour porpoise is critically endangered and faces multiple, interacting threats, making cumulative impact assessment essential for effective conservation. The aim of this report is to introduce the concept of cumulative effects as well as some methods for assessment, and to introduce some of the research available on cumulative effects on harbour porpoises. We then attempt to analyse potential pathways for cumulative effects specifically on the critically endangered Baltic Proper harbour porpoise population, using some of the methods presented.
