EU-projects
The County Administrative Board has been Lead Partner in several EU-projects. The most recent are TOWER and Advantage Hardwood. TOWER’s objective is to create and improve strategies and methodologies for economic growth. Advantage Hardwood’s objective is to create tools for sustainable economic growth and integrated regional and business development in deciduous forestry.
The Board has also been partner in several EU-projects. The most recent are FILES and BIRD. FILES’ objective is to implement local employment strategies. BIRD’s objective is to utilise nature reserves and cultural landscapes as resources for sustainable development in rural areas.
In the next few years we will give priority to transnational cooperation in field such as regional development, rural development, gender equality and integration of immigrants, management of environmental, natural and cultural resources.
