A security company monitors properties, facilities, certain activities, public events or a private person. All security companies must be licensed (authorized) by the County Administrative Board.
In addition to authorization, we also approve all personnel, including those that are not security guards, and give the company permission to have guard dogs. Checks of the security companies and their authorization are carried out once every second year. Upon request by another County Administrative Board, we can also check a company that has its registered office in another county.
